Rensselaer Owen (“Ren”) Broekhuizen graduated from Calvin College, Westminster Theological Seminary and Calvin Theological Seminary. Reverend Broekhuizen served congregations of the Christian Reformed Church in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

 

He was also a world missionary in Liberia, West Africa. In 1993, he was part of a group that founded Ridge Point Community Church in Holland, Michigan. He retired from the active congregational ministry in 2003 and continues to be a source of inspiration and encouragement to all who know him.
